Strangulation is the most lethal and insidious form of domestic violence because symptoms and evidence often do not immediately present themselves unless someone is trained to look for them. In this seminar law enforcement will learn how to understand the lethality of strangulation and identify the signs and symptoms of strangulation cases. Identify the anatomy and medical aspects of surviving and non-surviving victims. Investigate and document intimate partner violence and strangulation cases for prosecution. Prepare and deliver expert testimony in court and most importantly, enhance victim safety. There is no charge for this training.
