October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

There are so may fun activities for you to participate in this month from spooky themed 5k’s and Domestic Violence informational panels/classes. Help us raise awareness for DVAM and help us honor Native women around Oklahoma.

INTRODUCING the new NAAV logo 

This month's newsletter debuts the new NAAV logo and goes over some of the latest activities of Oklahoma's domestic violence and sexual assault programs.

This issue goes talks about the new tribal sexual assault and domestic violence healing programs. Shelley Miller and Kelly Stoner of the CIRCLE Project provide an extremely helpful explanation of victim's rights, plea negotiations, and victim impact statements. This issue also talks about LGBTQ2 Pride Month.
