Stronghearts Native helpline

StrongHearts Native Helpline is a culturally-appropriate, anonymous, confidential and free service dedicated to serving Native American and Alaska Native survivors, concerned family members and friends affected by domestic and sexual violence. Our advocates are available 24/7 and offer peer-to-peer support; crisis intervention; assistance with safety planning, information and education and referrals to Native-centered service providers as well as basic information about jurisdiction, legal advocacy and referrals. If you or a loved one is experiencing domestic or sexual violence, help is available by calling or texting: 1-844-762-8483 or chatting online at strongheartshelpline.org. We are here for all individuals who reach out for services regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or any other factor protected by local, state, or federal law. 


National DV hotline

24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic violence so they can live their lives free of abuse. Contacts to The Hotline can expect highly-trained, expert advocates to offer free, confidential, and compassionate support, crisis intervention information, education, and referral services in over 200 languages. The Hotline has answered over 6 million contacts, with services operated by expert advocates and other staff members dedicated to spreading education and awareness about domestic violence. Advocates attend extensive training sessions to prepare for crisis intervention support, safety planning, education, advocacy, and referrals for survivors; they also undergo training to support friends, family members, and others concerned about loved ones experiencing situations of abuse.
