Calling All Artists!

The NAAV is partnering with Women's Resource Center, The Resonator, and Norman Pride for- Art Against Violence: Orange Party!

We are looking for poetry and art focused around the theme of youth and healthy relationships.

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Throughout this month our goal is to not only bring awareness to teen dating violence, but to also encourage healthy relationships which helps make our overall community healthier. We know that this is a big goal. By using your poetry and artwork to help spread the message, we can achieve it together!

This event is youth-led and youth-focused. We encourage young people to submit their work, but there is no age limit for submissions. We strive to create an encouraging and healing-centered environment where survivors feel supported, so please consider that when choosing inspiration and subjects for your pieces. Let’s make sure to elevate individuals deserving of our respect around issues of interpersonal violence and do a little research to learn more. Feel free to contact us if you have questions.
